Fernando Krauss Iturra, 24 años, Secretario Regional del Movimiento de Izquierda Revolucionaria (MIR) fue ejecutado junto a otras once personas en cumplimiento de una sentencia del Consejo de Guerra de Valdivia, las víctimas , en su mayoría eran militantes del MIR MCR (Movimiento Campesino Revolucionario), todos acusados de asaltar el Retén de Carabineros de Neltume el día 12 de septiembre de 1973
