Biographical history
Rodrigo Rojas De Negri nace en Valparaíso. A los 9 años, viaja a Canadá a visitar a su familia. Al año siguiente parte junto a su madre a Estados Unidos como exiliados. Allí desarrolla su interés por la fotografía junto a Marcelo Montecino. En 1986 con 19 años viaja a Chile para retratar la resistencia a la dictadura de Augusto Pinochet. El 2 de julio de 1986 fue detenido junto a Carmen Gloria Quintana por efectivos de una patrulla militar. Ambos jóvenes fueron quemados vivos y luego abandonados en un sitio rural en Quilicura. Rodrigo fallece producto de las quemaduras el 6 de julio de 1986.
