La Corporación de Promoción y Defensa de los Derechos del Pueblo – CODEPU- es una organización no gubernamental de Derechos Humanos fundada durante la dictadura militar, el 8 de noviembre del año 1980, como Comité de Defensa de los Derechos del Pueblo. En los años '90 se transforma en Corporación. Desde esos años asiste a las víctimas y los familiares de las víctimas de violaciones a los derechos humanos y lucha contra la impunidad.
